1, 2, 3, 4… we declare a PENNY WAR!

Get ready for an epic battle of spare change! Our Penny War fundraiser will take place January 12–16, and we can’t wait to see which grade level comes out on top. Students are encouraged to bring loose change and deposit it into their grade’s bin located in the lunchroom (MP).

How It Works

Positive Points:

  • Pennies = +1 point
  • $1 bill = +100 points
  • $5 bill = +500 points
    All paper bills and pennies help your grade level climb the leaderboard!

Negative Points (Sabotage!)

  • Nickels = –5 points
  • Dimes = –10 points
  • Quarters = –25 points
    Silver coins subtract points, so feel free to strategize and sabotage other grade levels by dropping silver into their bins!

Prize

The grade level with the most points will win an Ice Cream Party!
