Read Across America Day at
Joseph Sims Elementary on
Friday, February 6th, 2026!
Read Across America is coming to Joseph Sims Elementary on Friday, February 6th, when all of our tracks will be on campus!
Our annual celebration is all about fostering a love of reading and showing students just how important reading is in their everyday lives. Throughout the week, students will enjoy a variety of engaging reading activities and are encouraged to get dressed up as part of our Read Across America Spirit Week.

⭐ Special Friday Activities
On Friday, 2/6, students will enjoy a morning assembly, followed by guest readers visiting classrooms to share stories and celebrate the joy of reading.
